Though she was initially an education major, Katie found her passion for creative online content when she started watching YouTube. Her favorite channels are Sugar Pine 7, Philip Defranco, and Shane Dawson.
Katie is not only a student at Drake University, she has bled Drake blue since the day she was born. Her grandfather, Don Moon, was a professor and part of the Educational Media at Drake department for around 30 years. He helped out with filming athletic events, and took Katie’s father, Bryan Moon, to several games while he was growing up. In turn, Bryan took Katie to a lot of athletic events while growing up. She never lost her love for Drake University, and you can frequently see her in the front row at all sorts of athletic events on campus.
Katie has an emotional support dog named Khloe. She is a black and white puggle (pug and beagle mix) that, as Katie has been told several times, looks like a miniature cow. Katie brought Khloe home from the Animal Rescue League of Iowa on November 1, 2017. She is the best dog that a girl can ask for. She is sweet, obedient, not too energetic, but energetic enough that she plays fetch for a few minutes.
